| Classic chocolate chip cookie |
Enough with the healthy posts for the last few days; time for some fun posts! After dinner at True Food Kitchen on Monday night, M. and I indulged in some chocolate chip and caramel cookies from
Aurelie The Cookie Guru at the Market on the top floor of the Santa Monica Place. It's a simple, pretty stand only selling organic chocolate chip cookies and milk. Paired with a cold glass of milk, these cookies were the perfect nightcap. They were warm, soft, chewy and buttery with gooey melted chocolate chips and oozing caramel. As I said before, I'm not a dessert expert, but these were really good and I've been craving more ever since. Time to look up some chocolate chip cookie recipes, any good ones out there to recommend?
