After a huge meal at Gjelina, we stopped by Intelligentsia for an after lunch coffee. I had an affogato, one of my favorite desserts: a shot of espresso poured over vanilla gelato and the rest of the group had lattes. I'm not a coffee expert; the drinks at Intelligentsia aren't cheap but are consistently made perfectly. There are usually long lines out through the courtyard, sometimes onto Abbott Kinney, and space is airy and bright with an industrial modern feel and all the top of line coffee making equipment.
