I thought I would do a separate post on the Taiwan pavilion since it was one of my favorites (maybe tied with Spain). The pavilion was tiny; limited to only reservations for 4,000 people a day. My aunt secured reservations for us before we left Taiwan, so fortunately we were able to go in. First, you go into a sphere where you are surrounded by 720 degrees of animated LED images of Taiwan (enhanced by mist, bubbles and fragrance), followed by a digital release of lanterns (which are projected into the sphere), and then a short xylophone and tea ceremony in the twinkling cavern. It's a succinct but lovely experience.
